MAIN DETAILS or
what is this all about?

Parphrasing from ANNIE HALL, "Right now, it's only a notion. But I think I can get money to make it into a concept. And later turn it into an idea."

My name is Gary Doss. I created this "fantasy" movie database page to help sell a movie script that I wrote. I am 54 years old. I have been writing this movie in my head since I was 16 years old.

"30 Rock" is currently my favorite show. Other TV shows that I have enjoyed are "Extras", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "Seinfeld", "Fawlty Towers", "Get Smart" and "Green Acres."

This movie is about a woman ( Sally Rodgers ) who discovers that the world can benefit from "Professional Scapegoats." Large multi-national corporations are always putting unreasonable demands on their affiliates. Typically, once a year, if projections are not achieved, someone is to blame.

Memorable quote from "The China Syndrome" (1979)

Jack Godell:   What makes you think they're looking for a scapegoat?
Ted Spindler:   Tradition.

Her best friend, Gail, is about to be unreasonably fired. Herself unemployed, Sally agrees to pose as an employee and take the blame.

It works! With the help and cooperation of Gail's co-workers, they pull it off. They quickly discover that there are many divisions of huge multi-national corporations that are eager to higher a professional scapegoat.

Three successful ( and lucrative ) acts of scapegoating take place. On her fourth attempt, Sally gets involved with a corporaton that builds armaments for the US military. But evil forces have already selected another scapegoat. No matter how hard Sally tries to appear incompetent, an honest, hardworking man from accounting, Andy Morris, is fired instead.

Sally now has a job she does not want. She teams up with Andy to investigate why he was fired.

They uncover that Andy was about to discover the most sinister secret of his company. The company was secretly developing RESA - Remotely Exploding Steel Alloy - steel that self-explodes when activated by a unique radio signal. Originally developed by the Nazis toward the end of World War II, Dr. Krankhorne has discovered the formula. His company builds weapons of all sizes for the US military.

With bombs and missiles built from this self exploding steel, Dr. Krankhorne can destroy the entire world-wide US munitions arsenal with the touch of a button.
